I’m excited today to share a review of the new Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask ($34 / 2.53 oz – 75 mL). Among the copious amount of skincare items I stocked back up on during the last Sephora Beauty Insider Appreciation Event, the Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask was high on my list. So many have been raving about this sleeping mask and since I’ve had so much success and results with my current Belif products as well as previous, it was a no-brainer that I had to test this. It took one application for me to become instantly hooked. The Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask completes my nighttime routine and has been a key figure in aiding to the hydration as well as anti-aging factors. Since so many of you have been really curious about the Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask, I thought it would be perfect to start the new week with a sleep-time complexion pick-me-up!
The Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask is an innovative jelly-pudding sleeping mask that works to replenish and revive dull, dry skin with explosive hydration for a dewy, radiant glow. Born from the DNA of their bestselling The True Cream Aqua Bomb, this overnight mask rejuvenates and replenishes dull, dry, and tired skin with explosive hydration for a smoother, more supple-looking complexion with a healthy glow.
Not surprisingly, but after testing this in person I completely understand why so many have come to use this as the only sleeping mask in their daily routines. It’s easily the most hydration-concentrated mask I’ve tried and skin feels instantly refreshed without any greasy residue or film. It absorbs rather quickly into the skin and doesn’t cause breakouts because it’s too rich or thick. After using this at night I find in the morning that my skin is plump, firm and thoroughly hydrated but also well nourished. Skincare usually takes a while to see results but with this mask I saw results by the next morning. With consistent use, skin looks a lot more bouncy and youthful.
Texture-wise I liken it to a cross between the Moisturizing Eye Bomb (reviewed here) and the First Aid 360 Eye Care Mask (reviewed here). It’s lightweight with a silky smooth finish that feels SO amazing on the skin. The jelly-like consistency helps to seal in my nighttime skincare and does not feel sticky nor does it rub off on my pillow while I sleep. For the cream, a small amount goes a long way and the scent is very similar to the Aqua Bomb moisturizer – very fresh but not overpowering.
As predicted, I fell in love with the Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask and I’ve been using it everyday since it arrived in the mail. I absolutely love this product. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated on top of plump and youthful. For me it’s gentle and lightweight enough to wear every single night without irritating any dormant cystic acne or cause a reaction. Also, I appreciate that product doesn’t transfer to my pillows or sheets. This is a really great mask if you suffer from dry skin or are looking to incorporate more hydration into your daily skincare routine for plumper, dewy-looking skin.
