For Summer, Tom Ford continues his curation of the season celebrating sensuality by introducing the limited edition Paradiso Collection. Featuring key pieces from the 2017 Summer Soleil edit, Paradiso brings forth a carefully chronicled selection of the shimmering, luminous tropical hue in formats of a Cream Cheek Color ($68 / 0.17 oz – 5 g), Cream & Powder Eye Color ($62 / 0.31 oz), Moisturecore Lip Color ($55 / 0.1 oz – 3 g) and a Lip Color Sheer ($53 / 0.1 oz – 3 g). Cloaked in the signature luxurious white and gold packaging synonymous with the annual Soleil editions, Paradiso translates Summer perfection embodied in a just-stepped-off-the-beach complexion paired with captivating eyes and lips. Many of you have been eagerly waiting for a review and I can say that this capsule launch does not disappoint. By now the items have arrived in most stores and counters as well as online – I ordered three of the four products available and have been very much enjoying these alone as well as in combination with pieces from the 2017 Summer Soleil Collection.
Cream Cheek Color
The Paradiso Cream Cheek Color is a warm, luminous peony pink with fine gold pearl that gives skin a healthy glow and natural-looking burst of color. It has medium, buildable coverage and has a soft creamy feel with a dewy, radiant finish that remains lustrous throughout the day without turning greasy. The formula is very smooth and the rather emollient consistency blends beautifully into the skin. On the cheeks it dries down for the most part depending on the weight of application. Heavy application results in barely any dry-down and product tends to sit on the skin while light-medium application results in most of it drying down. The Cream Cheek Color wore perfectly for well over eight hours before fading.

Cream and Powder Eye Color
The Cream and Powder Eye Color comes housed in a two-tiered shadow pot with a flip-top lid that contains a small mirror. Featuring two formulas, one sparkling powder (a warm, medium copper with brown undertones) and a metallic cream (a warm, medium rose gold with pink undertones), the Summertime duo can be worn individually as well as layered for the perfect smoldering sexy eye. The powder has semi-sheer coverage but still holds quite a bit of pigment. For it being a such a glittery product, I was really impressed to find there was very minimal fallout and that on its own it last a full day (eight hours). When layered over the cream it enhances the color of the cream as well as adds dimension. The cream shadow has a smooth, creamy consistency that does not slide, budge or fade after application. It has a lightweight feel that dries down fast enough so that it does not crease while setting but still offers enough time to blend the edges into a soft gradient. Coverage is very rich and applies as fully opaque on first swipe. The wear time of the cream shadow is well over ten hours. While wear time for each varies, worn together the overall result holds true to a ten hour wear time if not longer due to the base, however, the glitter does still experience fallout that is so minimal compared to when worn individually. I like to apply the cream shade first on the lids, then blend into a soft gradient. Next, I take my finger and dip it into the glitter powder and dab onto the lids on top of the cream shadow.

Moisturecore Lip Color
Lastly is the Moisturecore Lip Color. This is a innovative lip product that shares two formulas. The center has a liquid core infused with passionfruit oil and is a sheer pink color that blends seamlessly with the outer color. Encasing the core is the luminous Paradiso lip shade, which is a warm, medium pink coral sprinkled with subtle golden pearl. The Moisturecore Lip Color has a lightweight consistency with a cushiony texture that feels like product melts onto the lips and leaves a slight glossy finish. The base is quite emollient and rather creamy gliding easily across the lips without tugging, streaks or patches. Pigment is medium to full and it covers the lip entirely with an even, smooth application. I found the formula quite hydrating for the duration of wear time, which varied between 2-3 hours. There is also a slight vanilla scent but it’s very subtle and disappears after a few minutes. At first swipe the stick felt on the dry side which does get better after the initial top layer of the lipstick is worked in.

Swatched on the lips. For skin tone reference, I am not wearing any foundation and am completely barefaced here. My skin tone is medium with pink undertones.
As a long-time Tom Ford Beauty lover, I am completely in love with the Paradiso Collection. After the 2017 Summer Soleil release I was not expecting a mini launch and was head-over-heels when Beautylish sent out the email that they were carrying it. I give all three a huge thumbs up as their performance is solid in terms of overall quality. Paradiso in all facets is a gorgeous color perfectly wearable for the everyday and adds a radiant no-fuss easy-to-use glow to any complexion.
