I love the Nars Multiple sticks. They are creamy, multipurpose makeup sticks that induces a flush of color and highlight into one, and thanks to the giant applicator are easy to use with precise application. For me, they fit seasonal Summer makeup to a fine detail since the finish is more natural and feels relaxed, lightweight to wear.
When the Multiple line came out a mere few years ago, I purchased the Orgasm shade and did not really understand what I was supposed to do with it, so it kind of collected dust until I threw it out one day. There was no point in keeping it around. 2 Months ago I found myself at the Nars boutique inside The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace and in a courageous act to give the creamy makeup stick another chance, I ventured into the shade South Beach which was recommended by artist Emma.
South Beach is a peachy-bronze shade that contains a hint of shimmer, but nothing overpowering or what anyone could not handle. With its cream formula it blends into the skin beautifully, leaving a pretty highlighted sheen that resembles a faux dewy glow. Just like with any of the other Multiple shades, this one can be used on the cheeks, eyes, and lips. Oh yes, you get 3 products for the price of 1. Although I do find this particular shade a little too emollient to wear on the eyes. But you can use it anywhere that you’d like to mimic a sunkissed dose of warmth. Since it is on the warmer side and contains warmer undertones, this shade would work very well on medium complexions, or those who have a tan. Darker complexions can wear this color too only on a side-note, your complexion would pick up more of the shimmer side than the actual shade. Nonetheless, you’ll still be able to see the bronzy color, just a little more subdued. Pale and fair complexions should stay away from South Beach as it can look harsh on your particular skin tones.
